Privacy Policy

Formulify ("we", "us") is a Shopify app that evaluates merchant-defined formulas against a store's data and writes the results to Shopify metafields. This policy explains what data we access and store.

What we access

With the store owner's consent, Formulify accesses product, order, and inventory data through the Shopify Admin API to compute formula results. We request only the scopes needed for these calculations.

What we store

We store your formula definitions, the calculated values we write back to Shopify, and the resource identifiers (GIDs) those values belong to. We do not store raw product, order, or customer payloads, and we do not store customer personal information (name, email, phone, or address).

How we use data

Data is used solely to provide the app's functionality: running calculations, backfills, reconciliation, and showing you logs of what ran. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Data retention & deletion

Calculation logs are retained for auditing and are removed when the related formula is deleted. When you uninstall the app, we flag the store as uninstalled and stop processing. In line with Shopify's requirements, we erase the store's data approximately 48 hours after uninstall (via the shop/redact webhook). Metafield values already written to your store remain yours and are not deleted.

Sub-processors

We rely on Shopify and our hosting/infrastructure providers to operate the service. [Sub-processors to be finalized with production hosting.]
